The Boathouse – A Simply Stunning New Wedding Venue

I first heard about The Boathouse in Ormesby St. Michael over a year ago when our stands were next to each other at a wedding show. The brochure they were handing out detailed this stunning and ambitious wedding venue on the banks of Ormesby Broad. As building work had only just commenced the only images available were computer generated therefore a tricky proposition for taking bookings. I instantly clicked with The Boathouse team, especially with Mike & Belinda, whose passion and vision was infectious. 14 months later and I get a call from Mike wondering if I would be interested in taking the publicity images of the exterior of The Boathouse as this is just about complete. I of course jumped at the chance all I can say is wow, what a venue, simply awesome. Everything about the place is stunning, none more so than the 180 degree view of the beautiful Ormesby Broad. Please do check out and back on my blog in June when I will have some images to share from the 4 weddings I am shooting at The Boathouse in 2014. x
